UN Security Council assumes American resolution on Ukraine without criticism of Russia

The UN Security Council has adopted an American resolution on Ukraine. The United States had submitted a text in which it was requested to quickly end the “Russian-Ukrainian conflict” and is insisted on a “sustainable peace” between Kiev and Moscow. The text does not mention a word about the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. Nor is Russia referred to as ‘aggressor’.
