At Bundesliga promoted Holstein Kiel, Timo Becker is an integral part of the starting line-up. However, since the defensive all -rounder contract ends in summer, it could employ the North German transfer free. FC Schalke 04 is said to be working intensively on a return from the 27-year-old.
Holstein Kiel put around 250,000 euros on the table for Timo Becker in the summer of 2022 to get him from FC Schalke 04 to the fjord. The defensive player was not perceived as good enough for the German Oberhaus in the shortcomings that had returned to the Bundesliga after one year.
However, the 27-year-old kept the royal blue further in the heart, and last year even drove the long way from the Baltic Sea to Gelsenkirchen with ex-Schalker and team-mate Steven Skrzybski to cheer the club out of the north curve for childhood Heart beats.
First discussions between Becker and FC Schalke 04
According to the “Bild”, FC Schalke 04 wants to bring the Hertener native back to the Berger Feld in the upcoming field.
