A moped rider was injured this afternoon after he went down with his moped. This happened on a cycle path along the Norgerweg near Donderen.
The fall may have been caused by local slipperiness due to the rain. A fire truck with firefighters happened to pass by when the moped went down, and they provided first aid.
Subsequently, the victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
