Hollywood actress Christina Fulton charged her ex-boyfriend Nicolas Cage and her son Weston in a lawsuit. She accuses her son of brutally attacking her last year during a dispute. Weston Cage, a 34-year-old “professional fighter”, was then arrested and charged with a dangerous weapon for assault. Fulton goes even further and also accuses Nicolas Cage, which she not only blames for his son’s behavior, but also for his failure to help.
To the ex-girlfriend’s complaint
In her complaint, Christina Fulton describes that the attack by her son was made in a “manic outbreak of anger”. She explains that after worrying news from Weston’s friends in April 2024, she rushed to him, only to have been attacked by him in the parking lot, in the elevator and lobby of his house. Their injuries, including a trauma, neck and throat injuries as well as dental and abdominal trauma, led to long-term physical and psychological consequences, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTBS). The attack is also said to have caused a tinnitus. Weston Cage had already had an arrest for assault in June 2024 with a dangerous weapon when he also attacked his mother and another person.
Didn’t Nicolas Cage help his ex-girlfriend?
In the lawsuit it is also said that, despite the knowledge of his son’s psychological problems, Nicolas Cage had favored his behavior – through financial support, for example by buying an apartment for him and alcohol consumption. Cage is said to have freed Weston from prison and supported in a way that further tightened the problem instead of solving it. Cage’s lawyer described the lawsuit as “absurd” and said that the actor had no influence on his son’s behavior. Weston’s lawyer also described the lawsuit as attempts by Fulton to “get money and attention” in order to capitalize on the tense family situation.
