Thomas Müller has actually experienced almost everything in his career and heard every conceivable interview question. On Sunday evening, however, he was also surprised by an extremely unusual one.

In his career, Thomas Müller actually heard pretty much every reporter question. What a journalist in the mixed zone wanted to know on Sunday evening after the 4-0 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt also amazed the 35-year-old world champion of FC Bayern.
The reporter asked Müller once again urgently to listen to him and then put the following, as he called her, “football-feudetonist question”: “When aliens attack the earth tomorrow, suppress humanity and say: Ok, you have another chance. You can choose a team from the Bundesliga that plays a game against the best alien team? Choose Leverkusen at the moment to play this one game and save us all? “
Even the Müller, known as “Radio Müller” and for his quick -wittedness in interviews, was briefly speechless and first had to sort himself. Then he said: “So I would ask you (journalists; note of the editor). My answer is completely clear, right?” After a short break, he added appreciatively towards the questioner with a mischievous grin. “But that’s one of the best attempts to get an answer to this question.”
Both Müller and the reporters laughed in the mixed zone of the Munich Arena. On the way to the exit, Müller then called the journalist: “I have to do with you every day. So I know my way around with aliens.”
