Actor and director Victor Reinier stops the crime series after nineteen seasons Flikken Maastrichtafter complaints about his behavior and about the working atmosphere on the set. Producer Hollands Licht reports this after reporting from RTL Boulevard. In Hollands Licht, complaints were received about the working atmosphere on the set and behavior of Reinier.

Reinier played the lead role of detective Floris Wolfs in the popular police series for seventeen years. He also directed with him. The producer praises Reinier for his many years of commitment, but states that recording the series was “an increasingly greater task” for the 61-year-old actor, “which also had an impact on the working atmosphere on the set”.

It is not yet clear what the behavior of the actor it would be, or what happened on the set of Flikken Maastricht. Reinier himself leaves the newspaper The latest news know that he “has had problems with anyone.” He says he will not respond to the ANP news agency, due to the death of his mother last Tuesday.

‘In consultation’

“After complaints have been received at Hollands Licht, we started talking to the reporters and Victor and it was decided in consultation with AVROTROS not to have his character return,” the producer reports Friday according to ANP.

The nineteenth season of the police series is currently being broadcast, in which Reinier plays a detective duo together with Angela Schijf (in the role of Eva van Dongen). In the 1990s, Reinier also played the role of Dick Vledder in Baantjer, the right hand of protagonist De Cock.
