Potsdam (dpa-AfX)-Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock considers more pressure on the US government to make sense, even with regard to the United States’ negotiations with Russia about Ukraine. “We increase the pressure on the Americans that they have a lot to lose if they are no longer at the side of the liberal democracies in Europe,” said the Greens top candidate at an election campaign event in Potsdam.
Baerbock: “second turn” necessary
Baerbock took up the concept of the turn of the time of Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) at the beginning of the Ukraine War. “We said three years ago: It is a turning point. Now we need a second turn, no hesitation and hesitate for our peace.”
