According to the Nieuw-Buinen skating association, they succeeded so that skating can be done from 8 a.m.
And also in Noordlaren, just like yesterday, the irons can be bound again. There too, the ice rink will open again after a night of hard work. Just like in Nieuw-Buinen, the skaters are also welcome from 8 a.m.
RTV Drenthe weatherman Gert Voerman assumes that the skating fun today is of longer duration than yesterday. According to him, last night froze six to around nine degrees in most places. “Really a cold start today, that is also part of skating. And it also stays cold this morning. Somewhere around noon or 1 p.m. that temperature is just above zero. In the end it will be a degree or two, but with the dry Air there is probably little trouble with that.
And next evening and night it will freeze again, so there will certainly be skating opportunities tomorrow. But according to the weatherman, the skating enthusiast must have it mainly from the morning. “Tomorrow morning it will also stay below zero, but in the afternoon it will be tricky, because then it will be four or five degrees above zero,” says Gert Voerman.
