A driver of a car on the Monnikenweg in Geertruidenberg was injured in a collision on Sunday morning. The woman rammed a lamppost with her car, which then landed on the side. The woman was then trapped.
A passer -by saw the collision happening and shot to the help of the woman in the car. Eventually the fire brigade liberated the woman and was transported to the hospital.
The bystander was thanked several times for his good commitment by the rushed emergency services.
The road was closed for traffic.
