Premier League heading leader FC Liverpool won his home game against outsiders Wolverhampton Wanderers with some effort. The English top team won 2-1 (2-0) and thus kept the seven-point distance from pursuers FC Arsenal.
The dominant “Reds” from the beginning took the lead through Luis Diáz, who stumbled the ball a little strangely into the goal after a deflected pass from Mo Salah (15th). After Wolves keeper José Sa got off his legs in the 37th minute Luís Diaz, Salah converted the penalty to 2-0.
After the break, the guests initially found better into the game, also because of the negligence of the first table. Wolverhampton’s best man, Matheus Cunha, made sure that excitement came up again on the Anfield Road: from 20 meters, the Brazilian fled the ball into the net to goal (67th).
