Wants to become a trainer

Andreas Ulmer announced his end of his career on Saturday. The 39 -year -old left -back will not join any new club and will take a career as a trainer in the future, as the Upper Austrian reported. Ulmer recently worked at Red Bull Salzburg for fifteen and a half years, but his contract was no longer extended in summer. During his time with the “bulls”, the defender won 13 championship titles and nine cups. From the 2018/19 season, Ulm was the captain of the Salzburgers, whose record player he is with 582 competitive game operations.
Ulmer was still at the Bundesliga promoted Graz AK in December, but a commitment to the Steirers smashed. During the winter break, the veteran no longer found any other employer.
Between 2009 and 2023, Ulmer was also deployed in the Austrian national team, for which he ran a total of 32 times. His personal highlight in the ÖFB team was the European Championship participation in 2021, in which he reached the round of 16 with the Foda team for the first time.
