With the 1950/51 season, another historical season of the Swiss Super League, then still National League A, is available in the transfer database. FC Lausanne-Sport, who won the title for the sixth time.
Hans-Peter Friedländer, who was born in Berlin, was scorer, who scored 22 goals and thus one more than Josef Hügi, who scored the most frequently in the following three seasons. The FCC Neuchatel and FC Grenchen had to descend. The latter club lost 2: 4 after extensions in the decision game against FC Locarno.
