Asylum minister Marjolein Faber wants to pay municipalities tens of thousands of euros for every status holder they want to take care of, she writes in a letter to Parliament. It is difficult to find a home for these refugees with a residence permit and that is why they often stay in asylum seekers’ centers, who already have difficulty offering asylum seekers a bed.
