Turtle dance: Super power with which sea turtles recognize magnetic fields

Sea turtles are known for their incredible migrations, covering thousands of kilometers over vast oceans with few visible landmarks. A new study reveals a super power of the animals. They get to know the magnetic fields of specific geographical locations, which probably helps them to return to ecologically important places to nest and feed themselves. During the experiment they even showed a “dance” when they associated these magnetic signals with feeding places.
