The Flemish Environment Agency (VMM), under the competence of the Flemish Minister of Surroundings Jo Brouns (CD&V), has a step -by -step plan that recommends local authorities to no longer allow Christmas tree burns offline. This document, which was accidentally online last week, also called for a ban on using fire pits during Winterfeesten. That was then criticized from N-VA.
