Yle explains to Iltalehti why a special solution was made in UMK fan shirts.
Those in the audience in the New Music competition may have noticed a special detail in the fan shirts on sale.
The shirt had the names of all UMK competitors in the order: Costee, Neea river, Golddielocks, Viivi, Nelli Matula and Erika Vikman. Between Viivi and Matula, there was also the name of the One Morning Left closed out of January, exceeded in red. The band was excluded from UMK because of a breach of contract.

Iltalehti reached UMK’s main producer Anssi Aution the matter. He explains why Yle just ended up crossing the band’s name from the shirts and, for example, not completely removed from them.
– I would think it was the easiest way to do this. The emphasis on completely new shirts could have been quite expensive. I believe that the shirt -selling entity has come to the conclusion that this will achieve the best result, Autio says.
Deserted cannot say how much money has gone to edit the shirts. However, according to the main producer, One Morning Left does not have to reimburse the extra costs for fan shirts. Nor is it, for example, the cost of a music video or promotional photos for the time when the band was still in the competition.
“They don’t have to replace anything to Yle, the matter has been agreed with them,” Autio says briefly.
Autio does not want to open up how much costs went to One Morning Left while the band was still involved in UMK.

What is it?
In mid -January, Yle announced that One Morning Left was closed to UMK due to breach of contract. The band was in the competition with their song Pup. Yle has not specified which breach of contract was excluded from the competition. This is the first time in UMK’s history when the rider is shelved.

The band commented on the subject in their Instagram publication, which said that a member of the band Mika Lahti would have allegedly communicated between 2007 and 2010 in the IRC Gallery with possibly a minor person, either consciously or unknowingly. At the same time, the band announced that they would cease operations and to close their band’s limited liability company.
– Other members and other partners in the band are completely out of the claims. The accusations made in no way correspond to the values of other members or partners of the band, the publication stated.
Lahti denies the accusations against him. He said on the band’s Instagram account that he was ready to report a crime of false claims.
Lahti was involved in another band called Cometron. Band member Rami Nykänen told Iltalehti that the band would continue without bay.
