After the United States gold with Johnson-Shiffrin in the combined female team, the men’s test is scheduled on Wednesday 12 February at the Saalbach World Cup in Saalbach. At 10 the descent, at 13.15 the heats of slalom. Italy deploys four couples, such as Austria, France and Switzerland. Paris and Vinatzer point to the podium, but the competition will be very strong in a race with an innovative formula and that at the first approach, in the female combined, is not sorry.

As happened for the female test, in the team combined you compete in couples of the same nation: one athlete disputes the descent, another the unique slalom in caters. The ranking is established based on the simple sum of the time of the two tests. The starting order of the descent is established by drawing – within the individual groups of merit – as happens in a normal CDM race, the starting order of the slalom is established by reversing the best thirty couples after the descent. The world championship race is registered 37 couples representing 18 countries: as mentioned, Italy, Austria, France and Switzerland threaten 4 couples; 3 Ukraine and Czech Rep. (All in the last group of merit); 2 couples for Finland, Norway and the USA; 1 couple for Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Israel and Slovakia.

Poker of blue couples, with an openly in the running for the podium, one of the outsiders and two hungry and competitive. Dominik Paris and Alex Vinatzer can play the title, without if and without but. With bib 3, for Norway, Sejersted (bronze in Superg in Saalbach) will pair with Hagan, one of the best slalomists ever, at the moment. With 7 the Swiss couple Murisier (descent) -yule (slalom), and remaining among the Rossocrociati with 10 Rocentin descends who will pair with Rochat in slalom.
