Pulkkinen represented Poprad in the Slovak Main Series, but next moves to Switzerland. The transfer was published on Tuesday on the Finnish Ice Hockey Association’s transfer list.
It is not known to which Swiss club Pulkkinen will move to. Poprad has not announced the departure of the Finnish player.
Pulkkinen has played in two different teams this season. He started the season in the German Main Series at Schwenninger Wild Wings, but moved to Poprad in December. The attacker made 16 matches in Slovakia 3+2 = 5.
Pulkkinen has been closely in the headlines in recent years, as he was the only Finnish hockey player who continued to play in KHL after Russia expanded his offensive war in Ukraine. Pulkkinen played in Tractor Cheljabinsk and hockey in 2023-2024 at the Chinese team Kunlun Red Star.
