Due to the Spreading Act, municipalities must all cooperate in asylum reception from 1 July 2025. Asylum minister Faber (PVV) simply carries out the Spreading Act for the time being. More and more often plans for AZCs are being canceled after resistance from local residents. Should municipalities listen better to the concerns of local residents?
