Golfer Thomas Detry was the first Belgian in history to win a PGA golf tournament. On the Tournament Players Club Golfbaan in the American Scottsdale Arizona, where the Phoenix open took place, he set a final round of 65 strokes and thus secured his first PGA Tour victory.
