A car crashed on the A2 near Rosmalen on Saturday night. It went wrong a little after half -two on the road from Utrecht towards Van Eindhoven.
The motorist hit Rosmalen off the road at the Rosmalen exit and rammed a traffic sign. Then the car hit a noise barrier, after which it was launched and stopped on his side between the entrance and exit.
Wounded
The driver was injured in the crash and was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. A first alcohol check showed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The police are investigating and drove behind the ambulance to the hospital.
A recovery company put the car back on its wheels and took it with him. The touring to the A2 was closed for some time due to the crash.
