The Ecuadorans are going to the polls today for the first round of the presidential elections. The two largest contenders are ideological opposites, but both want to tackle organized crime in Ecuador. The election seems to be heading for a second voting round between current President Daniel Noboa and his left -wing challenger Luisa González.
