The non -profit organization remake has teamed up with Commons, an organization that works for more sustainable consumer decisions. An action is currently underway under the hashtag #nonewclothes, which asks consumers: on the inside, boycotting almost fashion and spending less for a month.
In view of a lower purchasing power of consumers: inside that pay great attention to their expenses-especially for non-essential products such as fashion and accessories-this is a trend that will develop in favor of slow fashion, second-hand and do-it-yourself.
Evaluation of brands based on their responsibility
Commons helps consumer: inside with the purchase decision and evaluates brands with regard to their responsibility for the effects of their products on humans and planets along the supply chain (“best”), the reduction of their CO2 footprint and waste minimization (“Good”), the fulfillment of basic sustainability requirements (“fair”), few efforts, especially in relation to the size of a company (“Poor”) and those that harm the ecosystem and its employees (“Harmful”).
Accordingly, interested parties can search for their favorite brand and see how they cut off.
As part of the #Nonewclothes challenge, Commons also published a list of fast-fashion brands that should be avoided that ranges from A for Abercrombie & Fitch to H as H & M and P for Primark to Z for Zara.
