From Zoetermeer you can drive through the A12 in the direction of The Hague, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and … actually everywhere. Zoetermeer is so central, that is ideal for motorists, but then the A12 must be open.
Knooppoints A12 and A4 closed
In the nights from Thursday 6 February to Friday 21 March, as a road user, you have to pay attention: the busy Prince Clausplein with eight viaducts closes different nights for research.
“Road users do not have to worry, the traffic can also safely drive over the viaducts,” says a spokesperson for Rijkswaterstaat. “The Prince Clausplein only closes for technical research.”
21 nights closed
The junction is closed a total of 21 nights from 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Take into account approximately ten minutes extra travel time. It is best to check the latest information in advance via the website vananaarbeter.nl. The diversions are then indicated on the signs above and next to the road.
