A third suspect was arrested on Wednesday for an attack on Coffeeshop Caza in Tilburg. On January 4, an explosive was thrown towards the case, while two security guards were at the door. Two weeks ago, two suspects were already arrested for this attack. They are still stuck.
The suspects are in full limitations. That means that they can only have contact with their lawyer. The third suspect will be brought before Friday.
The attack happened around three o’clock in the morning. The security guards saw that something was thrown at the coffee shop. The men jumped up and ran away, but the explosive did not go off. Nobody was injured.
The thrown object turned out to be a bottle of flammable liquid with an explosive thing. The security guards have reported attempted manslaughter.
Two other suspects arrested
On January 20, a 19-year-old and 25-year-old man from Rotterdam were arrested for throwing the explosive. The court has since decided that the 19-year-old man will be held for thirty days longer. The 25-year-old man will remain stuck for ninety days.
