Paris (dpa-AfX)-France’s new center-right government has survived a second attempt to fall from the left opposition within three weeks. A proposal for no confidence from the LASTRACHEN La France Insoumise was not a majority in the National Assembly. As expected, the socialists and the right -wing nationals did not vote against the minority government of Premier François Bayrou.

After Bayrou, in the dispute over the budget on Monday, used a special article of the constitution to bring legal texts without voting by the national assembly, the left -wing applications submitted two requests for no confidence. After the first failed vote there was a second vote in the evening, which will probably not find a majority.

In December, France’s left warehouse, together with Marine Le Pens, had brought the minority government of Premier Michel Barnier down with a vote of no confidence in the dispute over the budget.

Against the new government formed shortly before Christmas, the Left Party had submitted a notification of no confidence right after the first government declaration of Bayrou. But even with this vote in mid -January, most of the government’s socialist members of the government did not withdraw, just as little as the legal nationals of Le Pen./evs/dp/men
