The American fashion group Guess Inc. wants to continue growing in Germany and plans to expand its branch network.

By March, the number of stores, which is currently over 20, is to be supplemented by eleven other locations, said Guess on Wednesday. The openings for “important German cities” are planned. These include a new flagship in Düsseldorf and Hamburg as well as the locations in Munich, Bonn and Münster, which were opened at the end of 2024 and focus on Womenswear and Accessories.

“Germany is an important market for us and we see great potential in the cities,” said Guess CEO Carlos Alberini. “Our investments in these regions should not only increase our visibility, but also strengthen our presence there.”

Guess also wants to expand with Menswear-Stores, as already reported in mid-January, and separate accessory shops. The network of shop-in shops is also to be expanded. The sales areas vary between 150 and 400 square meters depending on the location and range. In addition to direct sales, Guess also invests in the “expansion of personnel infrastructure” in the Wholesale area.
