Fashion influencer Pernille Rosenkilde had thought he was one of the women who just slipped into old jeans after pregnancy and childbirth. The opposite happened.

The coolest girl in the class was noticed by Pernilla’s shoes: the glossy Converse slippers that Pernille’s mother had bought, were not real. Danish Pernale was ashamed because I was praising the popular girl – she had already noticed that they were copies of the favorite sneakers.

Then Pernille, a high school, decided not to wear fake products again and started shopping at flea markets. He started getting 25 euros a month for his own shopping money. It wasn’t much at the turn of the millennium, but taught Pernille a lot about money and fashion price.

Now Pernille Rosenkilde34, is one of Denmark’s most adorable fashion influencers and a standard face as an invitation guest of fashion shows. His style is when colorful, a bohemian. Black is hardly ever seen.

“In black, I feel invisible,” says Rosenkilde.

The body image changed

Today Rosenkilde is a pioneer and multi-talented fashion, but above all a 2-year-old Lizzi-The girl’s mother. Pregnancy preceded 1.5 years of fertilization treatments. This time Rosenkilde describes as an emotional hell. In retrospect, he only felt gratitude because he was finally pregnant.

Onni supported Rosenkilde throughout pregnancy, and he did not sacrifice much thoughts on what life would be like after childbirth. Changes in their own body, especially slow recovery, confused.

– I guess I was expected to be one of the Instagrams who just return to their jeans two weeks after giving birth. I waited and waited for my stomach to disappear and my hips would return. I was truly surprised when it didn’t happen.

When dressing for both work and fun, it is not clear that the same joy will remain in dressing throughout pregnancy and afterwards.

– I had always had a slender body, a quick metabolism and a straightforward relationship with my body. Suddenly I struggled with it. I was incredibly proud of the gift my body had given us, but at the same time I did not recognize myself, Pernille says and continues:

– I couldn’t understand why I didn’t lose weight faster. It frustrated. I was also annoyed by myself: why I was frustrated and not just proud of my body. As an influence, I didn’t just have the opportunity to hide and give my body time to recover. When I looked at my own pictures, I became well aware of how different I looked and how I couldn’t use my wardrobe in the same way as before.

Of course, Rodenkildek also knows that clothes are just clothes, but in his life the wardrobe is more important than usual.

– I’ve been building my wardrobe for years, it is a big part of my work and a big part of my identity. It was annoying that I couldn’t wear my clothes in the same way as before.

He decided to open up bodily things to his followers on Instagram and suddenly got a huge amount of love and encouragement.

– So many women appreciated seeing honest images and hearing genuine reflections from the post -childbirth body.

Although some fit in their jeans for a moment after childbirth, but many take it longer. Experts advise you to give your body time to recover at least as much as the pregnancy has lasted at least nine months. For many, recovery takes longer. According to Rosenkilde, the slowness of recovery should be discussed more so that the women who gave birth would not feel wrong in their body alongside utopian Instagram images.

– We need to be friendly to each other and remember that some women will never return to their pre -pregnancy dimensions. It doesn’t matter to me that I have given birth, but I also wanted to look more like the version of myself before pregnancy. Again, I wanted to recognize myself in the midst of motherhood.

After Lizza was born in December 2022, there was one goal in Rosenkilde: his own wedding was coming in June 2024. Eight months before the wedding he began to work out intensively.

– I wanted to show myself again on a big day. It motivates me, Rosenkilde says.

Pernille drew attention to his diet, added vegetables and reduced sugar. He did a rotation a couple of times a week. The fitness cure took the last pounds of pregnancy and replaced it with a strong and great feeling in my body.

Get married in panties

Rosenkilde got married in a completely unique, self -designed wedding dress. He knew in advance that he would not find the “right” ready at the bridal dress shop. Rosenkilde has previously studied fashion design.

– The challenge was to find the right direction among all my ideas. I found an inspiration in the Couture collections of top fashion houses. In particular, the Valentino Couture show, held in Rome on the Spanish stairs, has been a huge source of inspiration for me-everything was magical.

The outfit had a decorated top of the feathers – well -known Pernille loves styling feather sections in their daily lives – a panty -like lower part with a thin skirt and a simple, long veil in his hair.

– Even though I had a clear vision, the process was not easy. For example, finding the right silk at the bottom of the suit was a challenge: it was supposed to be translucent, but not too much, and it had to give the suit the structure without being too stiff.

In order to make the silk in the right tone and not too white, it had to be dyed with tea. The same handling was given to the top feathers: Rosenkilde spent more than 50 hours with his mother and sister, dealing with feathers to get just the right ones.

– The feathers had to be dyed, rinsed, and finally dry with a hair dryer to re -whine. Although we thought we had enough, we had to start several times from scratch. It was time consuming, but creating a living with my mother and sister made it special. When the suit was finally ready, it was worth all the effort.

– I’ve always felt confident in bold outfits. I was sportsing long before the wedding to feel good, especially with the translucent elements of the suit. The whole wedding day was really empowering and awesome. I was strong, healthy and beautiful.

Luxury and vintage

In Rodenkilde’s style, luxury and vintage go hand in hand. His outfits are anything but boring. On a cold day, Gann’s leopard-patterned giant top or Gucci Liberty jacket and cow patterned moonboots are often overwhelmed.

– At my confident, I’m in a feather top and loose pants. It’s one of my favorite look.

The fashion influencer wardrobe may seem bottomless, and Rosenkilde says he is shopping very little these days.

– I’m trying to save my money and I don’t spend too much. I already have so many clothes and there are many fun ways to styling everything I already own. However, I will check my favorite search at Vestiaire Collective regularly if something was used for what I need in my life. I only buy something if they speak directly to my heart and soul.

Rosenkilde admits that he does not need anything and if you buy something, it’s purely pampering – so it also has to feel special.

Pernile wardrobe is losing luxury and top fashion, but with a certain twist. His first designer bag is Saint Laurent’s classic, equipped with YSL logo and golden tassel.

– I don’t use it much now because it’s black. But it was important to me because it was the first bag I saved money. Maybe one day I love to use it again, and regardless of color, that bag is part of my history.
