Need more entrepreneurial approach
The foundation believes that more money should be generated from the Baafje. “A new approach is needed in which everyone must come into their power,” says Nicole. “The municipality is the client, Holland Sport is for management and we support as a foundation where we can, for example, deliver volunteers. But there must actually be an entrepreneur who will organize more activities, also outside the swimming season.”
The large terrain of the Baafje Beter Messing seems necessary to keep the outdoor swimming pool alive. In addition, better marketing and communication is also needed. “Why would bathers from Egmond not want to come and swim for a day in Heiloo in the summer?”
