The E-Commerce Group Global Fashion Group SA (GFG) has reorganized its leadership duo. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Helen Hickman was appointed to the two-member management board of the group of companies, the parent company of the online fashion platforms DaFiti, Zalora and The Iconic said on Monday.

Coo Gunjan Soni leaves the company

In the leadership committee, she replaces Gunjan Soni, who had resigned from her post as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Group and as CEO of the Zalora online platform operating in Southeast Asia to “devote himself to new professional occasions”.

During a transition period, Soni will work closely with CEO Christoph Barchewitz until the end of March, the group said. Preliminary figures for 2024 are within the framework of the expectations

The group also announced preliminary key data for the recently completed financial year 2024. Accordingly, the net star value (NMV) decreased by eight percent compared to the previous year and was therefore at the top of the forecasts updated in mid -October thanks to a “strong fourth quarter”.

According to the available figures, the result, which was adjusted for special effects before interest, taxes and depreciation (EBITDA), was in the middle of the target area from -16 to -28 million euros. The group plans to present its complete results for 2024 on March 5.
