The BBC’s own internal report began as soon as Channel 4, The Times and Sunday Times published a joint report on Brand’s behavior.
In the study, four women accused Brand of rape and sexual abuse. Suspected crimes occurred between 2006 and 2013. The alleged crimes came to light in British media in 2023.
The BBC report interviewed the employees who worked with Brand. The study focused on the work of a comedian on BBC’s 6 Music and Radio 2 channels from 2006 to 2008.
According to the study, many employees felt that they could not talk about Brand’s inappropriate behavior. Brand was seen as a character who silences others and always gets through his own will.
The report examined the complaints issued over the years over the years. According to reports, Brand would, among other things, have urinated bottles in studios, had sex in the workplace, and revealed himself to staff and program guests.
One report states that in 2008, Brand would have revealed himself to a female worker at the BBC’s Los Angeles office. Later, the comedian had, according to the claims, laughed at his radio program.

BBC to apologize
Peter Johnston, Director of Complaints at the BBC, commented on worrying results.
