On Thursday, the Public Prosecution Service demanded a prison sentence of thirty years in the court of Rotterdam and TBS with compulsory treatment against Fouad L. The 33-year-old man is known as the ‘Erasmusschutter’. He is suspected of triple murder.
On September 28, 2023, the medical student shot his fourteen -year -old neighbor Romy and her mother Marloes (39) in the Rotterdam district of Delftshaven. Then the shooter stepped on his motorcycle and drove to Erasmus MC. General practitioner and teacher Jurgen Damen taught nine medicine students here. Damen was shot in the lecture hall. The weapon was equipped with a green laser with which Fouad L. was better at aim. “There is a cold -blooded execution,” the public prosecutor said about this last murder.
