FC St. Pauli has equipped offensive player Romeo Aigbekaen for four years with a professional contract. The 20-year-old attacker has so far been running for the Hamburg regional league team and celebrated his professional debut in mid-December at 0-2 against Werder Bremen. Aigbekaen was not used. For St. Pauli II, he scored six goals and two templates in 17 games in 2024/25.
FCSP sports director Andreas Bornemann said: “After a short familiarization period towards the end of last year, Romeo had already performed very well in the U23 and also earned his chance in our professional team. It has very good systems, both physically and football. We are pleased that Romeo wants to go the next steps in his development with us and with us. ”
