Pokémon Go celebrates the year of the snake in the Lunar New Year’s Eve event 2025, from 29 January to 2 February 2025, with the highly anticipated return of the increase in the chances of obtaining Fortunati Pokémon in exchanges.

During the event, the players have the greater chances of getting lucky Pokémon from exchanges and becoming lucky friends. In addition to the usual series of time and field research tasks, the Lunar New Year 2025 has a special type of field research in store that rewards players with the Pokémonete.

Pokémon Go New Year Lunar 2025: time search tasks –

The 2025 lunar New Year is characterized by two time searches, both in progress until February 2, 2025, at 20:00 local time. The time of the snake year is free for all players and will be available at the time of access during the event. Note, however, that it is possible to obtain all the rewards of this mission only if you are below the maximum capacity of Zygarde cells, which is 250.

Pokémon Go New Year 2025: field search tasks –

The field research tasks are obtained by making the Pokéstop turn during the event. Although it is possible to acquire exclusive tasks for the event only during the 2025 lunar New Year, you can complete them and request the rewards when you want.

Pokémon Go New Year 2025: daily field search for pokémonete –

During the Lunar New Year 2025, every day, at the time of access, you will get a special field research that rewards Pokémonete. In order to receive these assignments, it is possible to have a maximum of three active field research tasks. The obtaining of Pokémonete from these positions is not counted within the daily defense limit of the gyms, so there is nothing to worry about.
