JOE producer Tom got a new heart. After waiting three years, he was able to replace his weakened heart with a new one thanks to a donor. “I had stolen a bottle of champagne that day for a barbecue that evening, but suddenly a colleague came to pick me up with the message that we had to go to the hospital,” he testifies in the morning show of Sven & Anke on JOE. According to the UZ Leuven, one person as a donor can save eight human lives.
