Huismus again most counted bird, Merel again in top 5 | Interior

Zeist – More than 90,000 people have observed more than 1.2 million birds in gardens and on balconies throughout the Netherlands until 5.30 pm on Sunday evening. In the intermediate position on day three of the National Garden Bird Count, the house sparrow with 216,973 observations ‘as usual’ is at the top of the list. De Merel makes it fifth place this year.
