The search for the missing Eindhoven citizen Joop van der Donk (60) continues again. More than a hundred volunteers are looking for a large area around the Gulbergen estate on Sunday.
Joop was missing on Wednesday 15 January and is still not found. Last Sunday, a team of volunteers already searched for the missing man using drones, search dogs and boats. The dogs then picked up the trail of Joop a few times, which led in the direction of Gulbergen, an estate between Eindhoven, Helmond and Nuenen.
The search is now coordinated by Search and Rescue Nederland, an organization of volunteers who is committed to detecting missing people. The large group of volunteers is subdivided into smaller groups, so that a large area is combed. This way, the Search and Rescue team hopes to get new instructions.
Joop van der Donk is a 60-year-old man with short gray hair. It has blue eyes and is 1 meter 87 tall. The moment Joop became missing, he wore a light blue with gray jacket. Family and friends ask people who know more about Joop or his situation, to report to the police.
