Sverre Nypan is just 18 years old, but with a market value of 12 million euros, the most valuable player in Norway. The midfield talent from the Rosenborg BK has already contested 60 games for the professionals and is now being courted by Arsenal FC. According to “The Athletic”, the Gunners speak to Rosenborg and Nypans Management.

A decision about Nypan’s future has not yet been made, which is why it is still open in which direction the talks are developing. The four-time U21 international in his country is said to have aroused the interest of several top European clubs, last summer Bayer Leverkusen was associated with him. Arsenal sees Nypan as an immediate reinforcement, it is said.
In November 2022, Nypan made his debut in the elite series at the age of 15 and ten months and is therefore the sieve younger player of the history of league in the 21st century behind, among other things, behind Martin Ødegaard. In December 2023 he was presented in the talent calendar at the transfer market and then continued his impressive development. At Rosenborg, Nypan is mainly used as eighth, but it can also act in the offensive midfield and in the storm. The youngster is at 13 goals and eleven templates, his contract is dated by the end of 2026.
