With the lead single “Didn’t Know Why” the band achieves maximum funkiness, but beneath the beautiful vocals lurk lines full of irritation (“Wake up in the morning / Everybody eat your lungs and heart”), Tunng’s appears in the lyrics Well-known character Jenny appears again, but this time she has lost any romance. Jenny is on a self-destructive trip today, it’s literally getting to her bones.

From a folktronic perspective, LOVE YOU ALL OVER AGAIN represents an impressive follow-up album to the first works by Mike Lindsay, Sam Genders (both guitar and vocals) and their bandmates, released between 2005 and 2007. Even after 20 years, Tunng still spins fine, fairytale-like melodies, But never forget to carry out synthetic interventions outside of conventional medicine behind their backs.
