French mother who let daughter (13) starve gets life in prison: Amandine weighed only 28 kilos when she died

A French woman who starved her 13-year-old daughter Amandine to death was sentenced to life in prison on Friday, with a minimum term of 20 years. A court in the southern French city of Montpellier decided this on Friday. The victim’s stepfather has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
