Storm Éowyn: gusts of up to 183 kilometers per hour on Ireland’s west coast – More than half a million families without power

Ireland and the United Kingdom are bracing for an unprecedented storm. This is a so-called bomb cyclone – a meteorological bomb or weather bomb – which, according to meteorologists, occurs “once every hundred years”.
