Science fiction fans love Keanu Reeves – and now they have another reason to.
Keanu Reeves’ voice can be heard in “Severance”.
Series creator Dan Erickson has confirmed that the Canadian actor will be working on “Severance”. Keanu Reeves lent his voice to the animated Lumon building in the episode “Hello, Ms. Cobel”. However, Reeves does not mention the appearance in the first episode of the series’ second season in the credits. After the short “Lumon Is Listening” excerpt, which is shown to company employees in the scene as a propaganda tool, fans could only speculate.
Actor convincing as building
“All I can say is that we talked about a number of different people for this role,” Erickson said in an interview with Film News “Collider” out of. “We always wanted it to be someone that people have certain associations with, but it also needed to be a very warm presence.” Keanu Reeves apparently brought an important aspect to the brief appearance: “The Lumon building is in context “Very friendly with this video, and there’s something friendly, something heartfelt about that voice.” The start of the new season of “Severance”, which is still ongoing, enjoyed positive reviews.
