Rolde has been burglarized several times in the past month. From the village there are noises about vandalism and burglaries in both houses and cars.
Video footage on social media shows two men or boys in dark clothing and hoods searching through a few boxes of waste paper on the roadside. Then they attempt to kick off a mirror from a parked car. They then quickly run down the street.
The police say they are aware of the problems in the village. “At least four reports have been received in the past month, one of a burglary, one of an attempted burglary, and two car burglaries.” The owner of the car from which the mirror was kicked off has also reported the matter.
The police say they are investigating the matter.
