Riccardo Bellini is said to have taken on the role of managing director at Qatar-based investment company Mayhoola for Investments LLC, whose portfolio includes fashion houses such as Valentino and Balmain.
Bellini took over the position at the beginning of the year, reports the trade magazine WWD. The former Chloé CEO reports directly to Mayhoola CEO Rachid Mohamed Rachid, who is also chairman of Valentino and Balmain.
In addition to the fashion houses, Mayhoola also includes the menswear specialist Pal Zileri and the Turkish retailer Beymen. In his new role, Bellini supported Rachid in managing the four companies.
Most recently, Bellini was CEO of the Parisian fashion house Chloé until the end of 2023. Before that, he headed Maison Margiela for almost three years and worked for the jeans brand Diesel for more than ten years in various positions, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer. He also worked for the US consumer goods company Procter & Gamble.
