Specifically, Audi has used a fleet of electric SUVs Audi Q4 e-trontransformed into mobile detection stations and driven for over 10,000 km in search of environmental values anomalies in the territory of Madonna di Campiglio. By identifying the points where there is a greater concentration of fine dust and atmospheric particulateswhich in the municipality still remain well below the legal limits, these sentinel electric cars transmit data to the Smart Hub of Audi, where artificial intelligence is used to identify strategies for improving air quality. Audi’s reports are then communicated to the institutions, which make the appropriate changes to the traffic based on the findings, as is happening, for example, in the case of the section leading to the Patascoss Refuge.
