The Danish denim specialist Mos Mosh is opening its first store in Germany and is planning additional locations.
Mos Mosh is opening its first German store in Hamburg’s Kaisergalerie at Große Bleichen 23-27, a spokeswoman told FashionUnited. The opening is scheduled for February 13th.
It is the first international store for the brand, which was founded in 2010 and has previously focused on the wholesale business and expanded its sales network in Europe. The first store opened in Copenhagen last year.
Mos Mosh wants to expand further
But it shouldn’t stop at the two northern metropolises. The next store in Amsterdam is already planned for the “Negen Straatjes” (NL: Nine Streets, shopping district). In Germany, up to twelve locations are planned in the next two to three years in cities important to the brand such as Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin.
However, the company does not want to build a large retail chain with the expansion, but rather to complement and strengthen existing partnerships, according to Denmark. Accordingly, direct sales should not be in competition with trading partners.
