An officer was injured yesterday during the arrest of a suspect. That happened on Lange Schijfstraat in Tilburg. Two police officers saw a car driving past at high speed around half past seven in the evening. They decided to chase the driver, a 25-year-old man from Tilburg.
The man did not want to cooperate with a saliva test. The officers therefore wanted to arrest him. The man resisted and used violence. An officer was injured and reported the incident. The suspect was interrogated at the police station.
