A motorist crashed into the back of a truck in the fog last night. This happened on the A28 between De Wijk and the Lankhorst junction.
The accident happened around three o’clock at night. The impact left the highway littered with debris. The car was completely destroyed at the front, but the damage to the truck was limited. The A28 was closed for two hours for research and to clean the road.
The driver of the car was treated in an ambulance. It is unknown whether he was also taken to hospital.
