TRT announcer Erdoğan Arıkan fell ill while covering the match in which Keçiörengücü hosted Sakaryaspor in the 20th week of the 1st League. Upon the notice of his teammates, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that Arıkan, who was taken to Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) after the first intervention at the scene, was treated.

He is currently in intensive care and his treatment continues.
