A garbage truck left a trail of pollution in Assen this afternoon. The vehicle lost part of its load en route for unknown reasons. This gave the road surface the appearance of a garbage dump.
According to a bystander, things went wrong on Overcingellaan. Road users in the wake of the garbage truck made their way past the mess. As far as we know, this has not led to any incidents.
The Assen municipal service has been called to remove the waste from the road.
